Charging My Batteries

After moving this year and spending all of my time creating work for the craft shows I was in by the end of December I was pretty burnt out. So I've taken a bit of time off to relax. The holidays were busy and just lovely I'm happy to say. I saw many good friends - old and new. The extremely cold weather made it hard to spend time in my studio as our heating system couldn't keep it warm enough with the below zero temperatures. Consequently I have spent a lot of time in a comfy big green chair next to the gas fire working on my computer putting receipts and sales etc. into my database so I'll have a head start on my filing my taxes. I've also been looking at the work of many excellent fiber artists online to get inspiration. I'm hoping for a peaceful, creative year in 2018. I think I'm ready to get back to work very soon!
