Free Motion!

It's been a busy summer with many good friends visiting but now it's time to get back into the studio! I recently purchased a new sewing machine on which to do free motion embroidery. Lots of fun! I think this will open up many possibilities for me. It won't replace hand embroidery for me because it has a different look that I like but I'm looking forward to exploring the possibilities of both. Here is one of my first pieces.
